We are delighted to invite you to a virtual presentation of the Barjeel Art Foundation, introduced by Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi, it's founder, and a tour of the collection led by Suheyla Takesh, its Curator, followed by a Q&A with the audience.
Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi, an Emirati columnist and researcher on social, political, and cultural affairs in the Arab Gulf States, is the founder of the Barjeel Art Foundation.
Barjeel Art Foundation is an independent, Sharjah (UAE) based initiative established to manage, preserve and exhibit an extensive collection of Modern and Contemporary Arab Art, contributing to the intellectual development of the art scene in the Gulf region and striving to serve as an informative resource for contemporary art by Arab artists both locally and on the global stage. In 2018, 100 works from the collection were hosted on a long-term basis at the Sharjah Art Museum.
