Letter from Hoda Fouad Chahine, Treasurer & Founding Member
“Art as a Journey of Self-Discovery and Collective Passion”
Seven years passed like a glimpse to find myself stumbled into a world that would reshape my life the Art Circle. This transformative chapter, reminded me of Thomas Merton’s profound words: “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”This duality—of discovery and immersion—has become the heartbeat of my relationship with art, amplified by the extraordinary people who have shared this path.

The 3 Lebanese-born siblings will open the door of their Dubai home
The substantial collection amassed by the three siblings, whose Dubai home has a gallery-like feel, offers up surprises at every turn. Each of the siblings’ life experiences and personalities have trickled into their art collection, which they like to enjoy in rotation, even building more walls when there isn’t enough space.
From paintings to conceptual artworks and sculptures, the collection here is museum-worthy. In fact, several of the pieces have been loaned to international institutions
What has started as a Middle Eastern collection, quickly grew to a global one: many of the works by international artists speak of resistance and anti-colonialism, of destruction and reconstruction, but also of joy.

ART DUBAI

Recently we had the extraordinary honour and pleasure of receiving the Italian sculptor Jago and his wife Michela with The Art Circle in the Italian residence in Abu Dhabi. I am very grateful to all of you for making this event so inspiring: I believe we all have very fond memories of this beautiful day on which Jago & Michela so generously shared their thoughts and time with us.

Art Paris returns to the Grand Palais even bigger and better than before
Art Paris 2025 – 27th edition – 3-6 April 2025 – Grand Palais
From 3 to 6 April 2025, Art Paris, the leading spring event for modern and contemporary art, is back with a bang at the Grand Palais, whose entirely renovated nave and balcony spaces will allow the fair to host 170 exhibitors from 25 different countries (34 more than in 2024). At this edition, the fair’s events programme will be even more ambitious with new themes, exhibitions, prizes and panel discussions.
Saudi American artist Sarah Brahim and French artist Ugo Schiavi present the results of their collaborative project, NEUMA, The Forgotten Ceremony. Imagined as a symbolic gesture paying tribute to the ritual practices of the pre-Islamic tribes of AlUla, this installation by Brahim et Schiavi is the result of in-depth research carried out in close collaboration with archaeologists and local communities across the region. Drawing inspiration from the landscape of AlUla, its mythology and heritage, this exhibition fosters a contemplative mood by subtly blending contemporary creation, elements of the site’s ancient history, as well as secular and sacred elements across an ensemble of sculptures, videos and photographic creations.
